Weekends Racing

I think by now you all know what Coalfields RT is about but this weekend is going to involve something completely different! Talking about Spartans, we have one true Spartan making an appearance tomorrow in the Anniversary Waltz Race! Dave Atkinson, experienced fell runner and ultra marathon runner will be showing us all how it's done in this hell of challenge over 15 miles with 7600 ft of climbing.  If you want to know a little more of what it is all about read this and be amazed!!!

Tomorrow also sees Mick Proud, Georgia Campbell, Angela Campbell, Lisa Irving, Dave Wallace, Elliot Gowland and Kerry Gowland taking part in the Hilly 21mile time trial up around the lanes of Ponteland.

While on Sunday, Garry Walker, James Campbell and Mick Morris will be back on the duathlon trail hunting down big money in the Stockton Duathlon festival Standard race where Gavin Sword, Matt Turnbull and Mick Lavender will be turning out in the Sprint Race.

We wish all of you the very best of luck wherever you are racing this weekend, trying to maintain the start to the season we have already had.
