After yesterday's great display down in the midlands by the Lavenders on their first CFRT outing, no fewer than 10 of us turned up at an excellently organised Duathlon race in Morpeth town centre on closed roads today.
The race doubled up as Duathlon World Championship Qualifying event for Ottowa, Canada for which none of us are targeting! What is nice to know is that 6 of us would have been flying out of the North East later this year wearing the Blue GBR kit representing Coalfields! A massive display of strength in depth resulted in the team coming home with 9 trophies.
We are so proud of every single one of you with everyone playing their part for the team. Not only have we yet again had extremely positive comments about how we are bringing an air of team spirit to the events we attend, but we are also attracting prospective members as we go about it.
Brilliant display today guys I'm looking forward to lining up alongside you all again next week in Sunderland!!!
