It's Good Friday, but lets hope this is the beginning of a great weekend for Coalfields Race Team.
First out the traps on Sunday, we have debutants Michael and Paul Lavender racing down in the Midlands at the East Leake Sprint Triathlon. Not only is this the debut in Orange and Blue for Mick and Paul, but also the teams debut triathlon outing of the season with previous races all being duathlons. Seen as a great super fast season opener for many, we have high hopes for good results on this one and look forward to hearing to bring team inspiration for 24hrs later.
Easter Monday sees another fantastic early season turn out for the team at a race that Garry won last year. This year sees the Morpeth Duathlon format change from previous years and shifted to the town centre from the rugby club and is doubled up as a BTF Duathlon world Championship Qualifying event so the guys will have some tough competition out there but great racing.
All the very Easter best go out to no fewer than ten of our regular racers with Garry Walker, Elliot and Kerry Gowland, Georgia and Angela Campbell, Mick Proud, Paul Somerville, Mike and David Wallace and another Coalfields Multisport debut for Gavin Sword!
