Club Run TT

After our first club run TT 3 weeks ago, today saw our second running of the 5.4km route. This undulating course isn't particularly flat or fast and with some good solid times last time it was good to see some good improvements this week.

Three weeks ago Paul Somerville set the standard for this course in a very respectable time of 21:01 in tough conditions. Today we had Paul missing through injury but Garry Walker turned up to try and push the bar up a notch. This he done by setting a new course record of 19:43. But this was only part of the achievements. James improved his time by 17seconds and Michael turned in a good first attempt at the course in 20:51.

For the girls, well it was down to our resident fast lass to lead the way with Georgia Campbell coming across the line first with 1:16 advantage over Kerry who was second lady and her first time running the TT. Lisa Irving came in third and in doing so took a whopping 1:02 off last times outing. Georgia holds the fastest ladies time of 23:32 set at the first TT.

Well done everyone see you all in three weeks time.
