Another weekend, another jam-packed schedule of racing for the club!
Starting early this Saturday, a total of 11 CFRT members are out representing at QE2, at the relocated Newcastle Triathlon. First off are Gav Richardson and Micky Morris in the sprint distance – Micky's last spin out of the legs before The Outlaw next weekend! Shortly afterwards, the standard distance athletes will be off – we have a big turnout here from Jen Batey, Angela & Georgia Campbell, Kris Heskett, Mick Lavender, Chris Philpott, Garry Walker and Rob & Chris Wright.
Slightly further afield, in the longest race of the weekend, we have 5 athletes taking part in the Cleveland Steelman at Ellerton Lake in Richmond; Linda Brewis, Mark Cullen, Mick Proud and Andrew & Paul Somerville. Kerry Gowland is also taking part in the Steelman as part of a relay team … who wouldn't want to do a 56M TT as a final bit of IM prep?!?
As usual, all support is greatly appreciated – why not get down to one of these events (both very family-friendly!) to support this weekend if not racing yourself?
