Good luck, weekend update

We may not have any Multisport racing on in the north east this weekend, but that does not stop the Coalfields Racing team contingent getting out there and flashing the colours in a variety of events up and down the country and abroad!

Starting close to home, Elliot will be staying on two wheels in his first Cycle Road Race of the season, with 8 laps of the challenging Scots Gap circuit in Northumberland for the Sunderland Clarion Road Race. Excellent preparation to get some hard fast miles in for upcoming 70.3 events.

Lisa Irving, Linda Brewis and Paul Somerville are racing in the allendale 8 tomorrow with Lisa and linda also doing a trail race on Sunday in the
lakes. Here is hoping the weather is kind for you.

Nottingham Watersports centre sees the 2014 World champ and 2015 European champ sprint triathlon qualifying event on Saturday.  We are again well represented by Garry Walker, Gavin Richardson, Matty Davison and Mick Lavender. Good luck to you all.

But biggest wishes are saved until last and that is with Matthew Fearn. Jetting out to Pontevedra in Spain to pull on his GB kit for the first time at the World Duathlon Championships on Sunday!

We would like to wish Matthew, all of our coalfields representatives, and anyone else out there racing this weekend, the very best of luck in your own races.
