Monumental day for Coalfields Race Team today! Although we have three members going out to Turkey for the European Tri Champs in three weeks to represent GB, these were gained prior to the formation of the club. Today we had our first qualifier for a GB Vest as a Coalfields member in the form of Chris 'the Fish' Philpott at the Red Venom Aquathlon. Chris has qualified to race in Hyde Park on the Olympic course mid September at the World Championships Grand Final.
Great racing was also seen by Michael and David Wallace although we are still awaiting official results through.
This is the first result through on what is a mammoth weekend of qualification efforts for the team with Garry Elliot and Matt currently down in Grendon for the Euro Sprint Champs Qualifier!
I've said before that Success breeds Success, so come on guys you know what you have to match!!!
