Another race, another podium! Or two

Wow, another great weekend in the short history of Coalfields RT. This weekend, we had representation by seven team members at the Cleveland Triathlon Club Charity Duathlon event in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Society. A true fun and friendly and extremely well organised race, our guys truly got into the spirit of the day which was well documented by our comrades from Cleveland Tri Club, yet again we did ourselves proud.

However...
A race is still a race and a hotly contested one it was. But top honours this weekend came in the form of an overall Male and Female winner! Elliot Gowland scooped first place in the mens race which he stormed through on the bike, and a great all round performance by Georgia Campbell, resulted in a second week and a second female overall winner! A great warm up in advance of next weekends Stokesley Duathlon, our colours were worn with pride. What a sense of team spirit we are building with witnessed encouragement for each other even throughout the race!

Congratulations to everyone that took part, Elliot, Garry, Mick, Kerry, Lisa, Angela, Georgia! You were all great and proving to be fantastic ambassadors for the club already. And who could forget Our very own marathon girl Linda and treasurer Charlotte were there, supervised by honorary member Freya, to keep us all organised thanks for your support ladies!!!
