What a great first possible racing day of the new year! New Years Day saw no fewer than 5 of our members racing across the north east. David Wallace was racing the 5.5 mile Captain Cook fell race finishing in just under 41 mins at his first attempt! And Garry Walker, Gavin Sword, Georgia Campbell and Angela Campbell were up at Morpeth for the deceptively hilly 11km road race! Garry smashed last years time by over 1.5 min finishing in an improved 12th (first unattached) in 39:49 Gavin 30th and 1st vet 40. Georgia 64th and 9th lady with Angela close behind in 68th (12th lady 5th vet, 2nd v45)
Great encouraging results already beginning to paint the circuit orange and blue.
